Fahrenheit Theatre Arts School is a fantastic way for your child to develop skills in the three essential disciplines:
Drama, Singing and Dance.
Drama
Techniques and styles are taught through a variety of games and exercises. Techniques covered, include improvisation, diction, breathing, spatial awareness and costumes.
The students also have the opportunity to sit L.A.M.D.A examinations. These are professional drama exams that are recognised world wide.
Singing
Students study all different singing styles and they are encouraged to sing solo as well as in a group. They study harmony singing, and whilst lessons involve a lot of fun activities, they also provide a foundation for vocal technique and development.
Dance
All types of dance are taught; these include Ballet, tap, modern, Jazz, street and Hip- hop. This beneficial training is a great way to keep fit, and have fun. The students have the opportunity to perform at various events around the city, and are encouraged to perform throughout the year in demonstrations and shows.
There are two age groups ages 5 – 10 years, and 11 – 16 years.
They have 45 minutes of each discipline, and are taught by professional, highly qualified, friendly teachers.
They have the opportunity to perform in the Fahrenheit annual show, and will receive a progress report at the end of each year.
