| Mitch Clarke
|
Mitch was classed as a late-comer to the world of dance as he only began being trained at the age of 14. At this point he had taken a liking to two different styles which were American Line Dancing and Street Dance.
When first asked if he'd like to do Line Dancing, Mitch laughed and shouted "Yeehaa!!" But when shown what it entailed it interested him as it contains:- "Waltz", "Cha Cha", "American Smooth", "Polka" and a "Funky" Section. Pursuing this, lead Mitch to become the "British Champion" in the novice division.
However Mitch's real passion was for the Street side of Dance as this is where he found most of his enjoyment. He loves the competitions and is enjoying the chance to enter his own team. At the moment he is doing a dance A Level at Fenton Sixth Form College and is finding it a great help towards his dancing.

BBOY Bio:
I have been breakdancing since the age of 15. Me and my two friends Tony Marchionne and Andrew Pickin also known as (T-Rock) and (Legs) became very interested in breakdancing and wanted to learn the dancing art from bboying. So we found some old school bboys who trained at university in Stoke, their names were Gareth Bowyer AKA BBOY BO, Ron Case AKA BBOY PHASE 1 and John Parks AKA BBOY CASTRO. So we began training with them and they helped me and my friends to learn and grow to love the dance. Later on we joined their crew (Under Attack). Whilst at High School we performed a number of shows at the Regent Theatre and Victoria Hall alongside an Irish Dancing Group lead by Teresa Patterson in 1997. This year I am training with my crew for the chance to represent England. If we are successful in winning The Battle of Britain 2007 in June we will go up against other European countries and more at The Battle of the Year in Germany 2007.
